IMAN + DEVI - JAVANESE TRADITIONAL WEDDING

Javanese wedding is not only about uniting two person. More than that, it's about unity about two whole family. Javanese person love symbolic language, as the whole ceremony were filled with it. Started with asking the permission and blessing from theri parents (sungkeman), selling dawet (traditional javanese drinks) and give the money to the couple to build their family in the future, then before the blessing day, the bride and groom have to gone trough Javanese traditional ceremony like siraman (taking bath to clean all the sins and bad fortune) and midodareni (first meeting between the woman member of the groom's family with the bride to be, and giving the words of wisdom to the groom) before they finally united trough akad ceremony.
