Calabria - Wedding in Tenute Ferrocinto (CS)

I discovered another corner of our wonderful Italy thanks to these two very nice guys, Filippo and Nadia, who got married in Calabria, their homeland, in a small town carved in the stone of the Pollino National Park.
This area falls within the so-called Terre d'Arberia, those places in Italy where Albanian communities settled several centuries ago fleeing their lands threatened by the Ottoman Empire.
After a characteristic Orthodox rite in the cathedral in the center of the town, an unforgettable party was held at the Tenute Ferrocinto, an evocative complex of around 120 hectares of vineyards and olive groves with a typical fortified farmhouse from the 19th century in the centre.
