Stephanie + Matt || Happitaly Ever After Highlights

In one of our blogs we discussed destination weddings, and how a bit of bravery in the initial planning stages can really pay off in the end. It’s always a worry that your close friends and family won’t all be able to make it across for a variety of reasons- but when Stephanie and Matt set their hearts on Castello Di Meleto in Tuscany as their chosen venue, they knew it wouldn’t be a hard sell. The natural beauty of Chianti has the ability to stun you speechless with its landscapes that are somehow simultaneously tranquil and dramatic: when the sun beats down on the Castello Di Meleto there is a calmness that almost defies the forceful grandeur of the venue. The connection between the couple seemed to rub off on the guests (though the “grotesque amounts of wine” may have helped) as it seemed the friends and family had all known each other for decades, such was the feeling of unity between the castle walls. Yet again we were provided with the perfect opportunity to revel in all the pleasures a Tuscan wedding can offer: pizza, wine, and a seemingly everlasting supply of sunshine, and not to mention a beautiful and friendly couple.
