What is the song about / purpose?
The song is about Josh facing the fact that money has been stolen from him while pursuing his music career by someone on his executive team who he thought he could trust, in other words he got burned and now after money finally came in to support his career endeavors, the person responsible in the spending the money properly for his promotion, disappeared and never to repay the money.
Play your cards right or you could end up in the red, in a negative space.

Is this song a part of an album / EP ? The song is from his forth coming album, The End of Almost. Which is also a visual album telling the story of his journey from rocking the stages of South Florida to his first International Tour to his name change, to starting all over in Los Angeles, CA to present day as Josh Moreland. The album is about not accepting second place anymore and knocking down the doors or creating the doors to the future.

The End of Almost is a declarative concept. Announcing the end of an era of “almost or a struggle” making it in music, love, finance, career, etc . With the death of his mother last year tugging on his heart, Josh is determined to see it through to completion. Conquering a place of delay and procrastination, finishing what is started. No longer accepting 2nd place or watching from the sidelines. Moreland takes listeners through an exploration of his journey of fears, demons, spiritual obedience, the music industry from failures to victories.
