A Fun West Shore Cafe Wedding: Kendra and Carl

“Once I saw you, suddenly the world around me looks different. I saw the lake for the first time, I saw the stars, I smelt the trees, I felt the mountain breeze and most importantly, I saw my future as an epic beautiful saga with the most incredible human I have ever met.”

With Heart Lake’s dirt smeared on their shoes and their pup Titan as their witness, Carl (albeit battling the nerves), finally asked Kendra to be his partner for life. Who would have thought he’d find his ultimate “10 to the 10th power” at work?

On her end, the golden-haired beauty used to call the charming boss, “Hot Carl”. With both of them sharing alluring minds and hearts, their connection was effortless. They read a lot cosmology books, they scout the weirdest food on the menu, they thrive in the outdoors, they croon with Ellie Goulding, and like we said, they really do have big hearts.

In fact, Kendra, being a former planner herself, made sure that their wedding is also a homage to her Scottish heritage and the people who touched their lives: the Mt. Shasta chocolate bars that showcased her dad’s engraving prowess, to paying tribute to her late grandfather through a bagpiper at their ceremony, and his tartan tie wrapped around her bouquet.

For Carl, he made sure that all of their guests are well taken care of, nobody at the wedding didn’t get left out - even his wedding filmmakers!

Surely, this couple will be a real #relationshipgoals for eons to come...and we’re sure of it 100 to the 10th power!
