Having returned to Paris once again to his passionately beloved Vivien, Andrew realizes that their relationships may be over. He cannot find Vivien at her apartment and she doesn't answer the phone. He finds something on her desk that leads him into the past: the whirlpool of words, minds and symbols absorbs him. Andrew tries to find the clues and in some time he manages to get the thread that has separated them. He understands that he has been making the same mistake for a long time. Vivien is far away but Andrew's hope is still alive…
