Forte da Cruz was built in the 17th century. It was once one of Portugal’s main lines of defense against the enemy. Today, due to its privileged location, is where happens various events, including weddings.
It was here that this symbolic wedding took place, where two families from different continents came together: Brazil and Germany, in a ritual of mix sand from the two continentes, symbolizing the union of this couple.
